Federal Park Playground located in Wallsend is a fun place to go with your family. It’s located next to the parking lot of Wallsend Pool and it’s a great playground to visit in summer before or after taking kids for a swim.
The play equipment features a slide, a climbing wall, a spiderweb and plenty of things to climb on. There’s also a large group swing and wobblies. What I like about it is that it suits a range of ages from toddlers to big kids.
With lots of grass nearby, there’s tons of space for kids to run around or kick a ball. There’s also plenty of places for parents to sit from a bench under the tree or in the sun to covered picnic shelters.
