The Earth Markets, operating at The Levee, Maitland are organised by the members of Slow Food Hunter Valley and community volunteers. The slow food movement values good, clean and fair. At each market you can buy fresh, locally grown and seasonal products, meet the farmer and learn more about where your food comes from.

The Homegrown Markets launched at Bimbadgen in December 2020 and now pop up there on a regular basis. ​Bimbadgen is an incredible venue boasting a huge amphitheatre to shop, eat and relax. Islington Markets

The Islington Markets are held on the last Sunday of every month and are the market to head to if you are a serious bower bird or bargain hunter. As this market requires no pre-booking and sites are cheap, you’ll find loads of bric-a-brac and car boot-style stalls selling everything from tools to fruit. There are no food or coffee vans, but the Vietnam Vets hold a sausage sizzle and sell coffee and drinks.

The Lions Club of Adamstown Sunday Markets

The Lions Club of Adamstown have proudly operated their Sunday Markets at the same location on Brunker Road since 1987. The Sunday Markets are The Lions Club of Adamstown’s biggest fundraising venture, allowing them to make substantial donations back to the local community. This market is run by volunteers and loved by all.

Maitland Community Markets

The Maitland Community Markets, run by the Maitland Show Society, are set on the 84 acres of Maitland Showground on the first Sunday of every month. With indoor and outdoor stalls, entertainment areas and quiet spaces, the markets provide a unique and welcoming vibe.
