Kurraka Drive Playground in Fletcher: Great for Kids Who Love Climbing

Here’s a playground that’s great for older kids who like to climb. Located in ‘The Sanctuary’ in Fletcher on Kurraka Drive past the Community Centre, it boasts a large climbing frame that’s ideal for energetic kids. It’s one of the larger climbing structures that we’ve seen.

There’s a smaller play area that’s covered in shade cloth which is perfect for younger kids especially with soft foam flooring. Older kids will love the massive climbing structure. All this plus plenty of area to run around.

In addition to the climbing frame, there are also spinners and swings (but no baby swings though).

Plus for adults, there’s plenty of covered seating, a BBQ and a bubbler as well as views of the oval, surrounding hills and Hexham Wetlands.  Bring a picnic or cook up some snags.
