Head out to Tocal Field Days during the first weekend of May. This three-day agricultural event at Tocal Agricultural College celebrates has lots of fun things to do for the family, whether you’re from the city or the bush.
As well as showcasing the latest in farming techniques, technologies, machinery, remote devices and award-winning livestock, you can experience great local food, wine and produce, demonstrations and expect loads of fun.
Tocal Field Days isn’t just for farmers, it’s a fantastic day out for families too. This year, there’s so much for kids to learn, explore and enjoy. Spend some time at the animal nursery. It’s a favourite with kids and parents alike.
Expect non-stop action at every turn! Dive into a Tiny Forest workshop, catch a live cooking demo, make some furry friends at the petting farm, or join the roar of the crowd at the fan-favorite piglet races.
This year at Tocal Field Days, the Paddocks to Patios precinct brings together a full program of talks, demonstrations and hands-on learning designed to connect agriculture, sustainability and everyday living.
Enjoy food stalls, live entertainment and cooking demonstrations.
Date: Tocal Field Days runs from Friday 1 May to Sunday 3 May 2026 at Tocal College.
Location: Tocal College is at 815 Tocal Road in Tocal and is 15 minutes drive north of Maitland or 45 minutes drive from Newcastle.
Opening Hours: 9am-5pm Friday & Saturday, 9am-4pm Sunday
Price: General Admission: Adults $25, Child (5-17 years) $10, Infant (0-4 years) FREE. Earlybird and return ticket discounts available. Tickets available online and include a processing fee. Limited tickets available at the gate.
