Lake Mac is gearing up for an action-packed weekend on land and in the water! Across the weekend of Saturday October 17 & Sunday October 18 2026, the Lake Mac Action Festival brings high-octane water sports, classic cars, live music, and family entertainment to the shores of Lake Macquarie.
Plus, the Morisset Showground Agricultural Show returns alongside the festival, serving up classic showground rides, local produce, and agricultural charm A super-charged weekend afloat and on shore!

Offshore Superboat Championships
Get up close to the boats and meet the drivers in the Empire Marina pit area, or catch the action from any vantage point around beautiful Lake Macquarie.
The Superboats take to the water from 12 – 3pm daily, with prime viewing stretching from Eleebana through Warners Bay and Speers Point, right up to the start/finish line at Marmong Point.
Live Site Warners Bay
The Live Site on Warners Bay Foreshore offers prime views, live race commentary, and nonstop fun! Catch the Offshore Superboat Racing live, then fuel up at the food stalls, browse the markets, and keep the kids entertained with rides and activities between heats.
Lake Macquarie Show ‘n Shine Cars
On Sunday 18 October, Speers Point Park is set to host a stunning lineup of vintage classics, custom builds, muscle cars, hot rods, and motorbikes all vying for coveted Show ‘n Shine trophies. Catch live DJ sets, delicious food trucks, local market stalls, and a chance to win prizes.
Morisset Lake Macquarie Agricultural Show
Celebrate two days of family fun at the Morisset Lake Macquarie Agricultural Show, a true country show featuring horses, dogs, cattle, poultry, and goats on show. With the best exhibits from local art, horticulture, craft, cooking and fresh produce.
Saturday finishes off with a fireworks show from 9-9.15pm.
