Sydney turns up the spook factor every October, from ghost trails and Halloween discos to haunted wonderlands and hands-on Halloween craft. There’s something for every little ghoul, ghost and goblin, with plenty of kid-friendly fun at iconic locations including The Rocks, Luna Park and Centennial Parklands.
This year, Halloween falls on Saturday 31 October 2026. Luna Park’s Halloscream has confirmed its 2026 dates already, but most other venues haven’t published theirs yet, so some events below are based on last year’s details while we wait for updates. It’s worth checking each listing’s website before you head out, and we’ll update this page with confirmed 2026 dates as they’re announced.
If you’re planning some at-home fun too, don’t miss our guide to 20 Ways to Celebrate Halloween, with more ideas on costumes, movies, books, games and music.
