Visit the Playground at Jewells Parade Reserve

Looking for a new spot to take the kids for a play? There’s a lovely new neighbourhood playground tucked away in a shady reserve on Jewells Parade in Lake Macquarie that’s worth checking out.

This small but inviting play area has all the essentials for little adventurers. Kids can climb, swing, and slide their way through a fun mix of equipment.

As well as a regular swing and baby swing, there’s also a group swing so that a few kids can swing together.

There’s a large play structure with various climbing and balancing equipment, a slide and a fireman’s pole.

There’s also a roundabout that’s slightly above ground.

In addition to the larger play equipment, you can find a rocker in the shape of a car, and playground games like Noughts and Crosses.

There’s also the fun orange voice tubes so you can talk to your kids at different ends of the playground.

There’s lots of shade in this playground due to the mature surrounding trees which will be nice on summer days.

There’s no toilets at this playground but Jewells Plaza is just down the road.
