Blackert Gymnastics Academy offer age appropriate classes where children can learn at their own rate. Their programs start at Tiny Tots (12m-y) and progress through Super Tots, Jnr Gym Fun and Gym Fun (Kinder/Year 1). As the participants enter Year 2, they can choose between two pathways GYMSKILLS or REGIONAL LEVELS. Their Competitive Squad gymnasts are selected from their Recreational Classes (usually between the ages of 6-9 years old).

Hunter Sports Centre is a purpose built gymnastics and athletics facility located in the city of Lake Macquarie. Their gymnastics centre includes 2,448 square metres of floor space, climbing ropes, a foam pit, olympic size trampolines, sprung floor and a full set of men’s and women’s artistic gymnastics equipment. Hunter Sports Centre offer Kindergym, a unique program that includes involvement of both the child and their adult caregiver. Each class runs for 1 hour and is broken into 3 key areas: Exploration, Participation and Activity. Hunter Sports Centre recreational gymnastics programs include Junior Gym, Gym Star, Gym Star Advanced, Gym Fun, Teen Gym and Acro Fun. They also have selective Junior Development Programs.

Newcastle Parkour

Parkour is the discipline of moving through your environment as quickly and efficiently as possible. Newcastle Parkour instructors are qualified with the Australian Parkour Association and have over 20 years of combined experience teaching the fundamentals of parkour. Their Preschool Parkour classes are for children aged 3-5 and in this class they focus on fun, with the major skill focus being on how to move and play safer in the great outdoors. Newcastle Parkour also offer a First Timers Class, Kids/Pre Teens, Teens/Adults and School Holiday Programs.

PCYC NSW offers a huge range of Gymnastics options from Kinder Gym to Tumbling, Trampolining to Free G/Parkour, Performance Gymnastics to Gym Star. Kinder Gym, a parent/adult assisted class designed to give your little one a head start in life! With a focus on learning through play, each lesson uses colours, sounds and other stimulation to help your child develop their body control and strengthen brain connections through balance, sensory stimulation, tactile experience and coordination exercises. Bridging the gap between their Kinder Gym and Gym Star programs, PCYC offer Junior Gym, a program suitable for preschool and kindergarten aged children. Junior Gym offers more structure than the Kindergym program with teaching methods and activities specifically targeted to suit the developmental and cognitive needs of this age group, whilst increasing self-confidence in an independent learning opportunity.

Revolution Park offer a Kids Playgroup on Friday mornings from 9-11am, a fun way to encourage new movement and physical activity for your toddler. Their Kids Playgroup is the perfect stepping stone into their Kindy Gym program for ages 3-5. For older kids, they offer Junior Jumpers (5-7), Trampolining (7-9 & 9-13) and Parkour for ages 8+.
