Arcadia Reserve Playground, located on Alexander Parade at Arcadia Vale is perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. It’s a neat, open playground with water views, wide concrete paths and play equipment suited to little ones.
The easy-climb low level slide and soft fall flooring allows toddlers to explore with ease.
There is a swing, baby swing and group circular swing.
There is a spinning roundabout, a see-saw for tiny tots, and fun music station.
It’s the perfect place to take your young family or catch up for a play date and is very popular with kids under 5 years old.
The playground itself has no fences (so keep an eye on your little ones) but it is hugged by a wide path that can be used for prams, scooters, roller skates or wheelchairs. The path also leads from the carpark up to the toilets.
There are two beautiful yarning circles at the edges of the playground and plenty of sandstone slabs and seats to sit on to watch your toddler play.
There is ample shaded grassland for running around, throwing a frisbee or kicking a ball.
A short stroll from the playground takes you to the public jetty, where swimming is a popular pastime when the weather is warmer. It looks netted but upon closer inspection, it is not.
There are two ladders for easy access out of the lake and an outdoor shower on the shore.
There is a covered BBQ and outdoor tables as well as plenty of grassed areas for a picnic.
Please note, this is a not a dog friendly park, there are no dogs allowed within 10 metres of the playground.

No. There are no cafés directly at the reserve. The nearest dining options and cafés are located a short drive away in the neighboring suburbs of Wangi Wangi or Rathmines.
