The Newcastle Farmers Market holds weekly farmers markets at Newcastle Showground in Broadmeadow on most Sundays. Visit the market for local fruits and vegetables, cheeses, pasta, dairy products, preserved goods, fresh seafood, wines, spices, handmade chocolates, organic sourdough, bread and pastries. Glendale Farmers and Artisans Market operates every Saturday at Stockland Glendale. It is a fully engineered covered space within the shopping centre, without losing any sense of country or a farmers’ market feel.

Maitland Community Markets

The Maitland Community Markets, run by the Maitland Show Society, are set on the 84 acres of Maitland Showground on the first Sunday of every month. With indoor and outdoor stalls, entertainment areas and quiet spaces, the markets provide a unique and welcoming vibe. You’ll find a wide range of stallholders including food and local produce from local farmers and backyard gardeners. Parking is available on the showground with a two dollar donation to the Maitland Lions Club.
