Enjoy Play With Lake Views at Toronto Foreshore Playground

We love playgrounds with a view and this one at Toronto Foreshore has great views of Lake Macquarie as well as a range of play equipment. Plus, it’s fenced so handy for those who need fences for their kids.

Please note: Lake Macquarie City Council is undertaking a $9 million multi-stage upgrade of Toronto’s Foreshore

Council is undertaking investigation works for the next stage of the Toronto foreshore revitalisation project, the Wharf Road precinct. The Wharf Road precinct involves expansion of the playground so we look forward to seeing a future playground worthy of this top location.

In the meantime, the playground is in need of an update but most of the play equipment is still usable.

For older kids, there’s a large climbing frame, a roundabout and spinners.

The balancing equipment used to have a skateboard that you could move up and down the track. The skateboard is no longer there, but the frame is still there.

Younger kids will enjoy the cute little playground equipment with a replica boat for them to ride in.

We like the small slide incorporated into the hill as well as the boulders to get back up the small slope

There’s also swings and spinners as well as a sand area for kids to play in.

Bring a picnic or some snags to cook as there’s a BBQ within the park.

The playground is fenced and there are gates at different points of the playground. Look for the yellow gates to enter the playground.

There’s also a cafe just outside the playground where you can grab a takeaway cuppa and some snacks. Plus, on a warm day, go for a dip in Toronto Baths.
