However, it can get expensive. If you’re searching for a quick bite on a budget, head to the Big Bush BBQ, an old-fashioned $5 sausage sizzle… and nothing makes the snag taste as good as knowing all funds raised are going straight back to a regional community.

  • If you do want to go on rides, buy exactly the amount of credits that you need for the ride as you can buy them individually. If you do buy a pass, you can get a refund for the value of unused credits after the Show, strictly for a limited time subject to a $2.50 processing fee.
  • Another way to save on rides is to attend the show on the last day of the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Tuesday 22 April 2025 with Kids’ Day 2 for 1 Carnival. It features 2 riders for the price of one for carnival rides in the major Carnival precincts of Australia Avenue and Olympic Boulevard until 4pm. Just get on the same ride, at the same time, and only one of you needs carnival credits. Exclusions apply.
  • Showbags are another area where you can blow a lot of cash. Do your research before the show to see what showbags are available and stick to a strict budget. Showbags start at $3.
