Minmi Reserve Playground: A Great Playground for the Under 8’s

This playground at McInnes Street, Minmi opened mid-2022, replacing an older playground that was previously at this location.

This colourful community playground is a great addition to the area. The main structure features a fort with stairs and double slide. Underneath you’ll find an area where kids can play shop.

There’s a toddler swing and regular swing as well as a see saw and roundabout.

The colourful climbing wall block will keep kids who love to climb happy.

In addition to a little wooden bridge, there’s plenty of play equipment for to kids to practice their balance including beams and half-circles.

The play equipment best suits kids aged 0 – 8 years and the playground surfacing is a combination of bark chips and softfall flooring.

A shaded picnic table provides a peaceful spot to have a rest and something to eat or to sit and observe the kids playing.

Near the playground, you’ll find lots of flat space ideal for kicking a ball around or just running around.
