Where to Play Pickleball in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie & Hunter

The latest sporting craze is here, and it’s time to grab your paddle! With a huge dedicated indoor pickleball facility opening in the region this month, there’s never been a better chance to try the fun, fast-paced, and easy-to-learn sport that’s sweeping the globe.

So, what exactly is pickleball? It’s a dynamic blend of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Kids can totally get in on the fun! Played on a small court (about the size of a badminton court), with simple rules, pickleball is an easy way for families to get active together. Using large, light paddles and a hollow, perforated plastic ball, pickleball is designed to be playable by everyone. Grab a buddy for singles or gather a group of four for some energetic doubles!
