Maitland Regional Art Gallery’s Free Art January

Free Art January returns to Maitland Regional Art Gallery this summer with a month-long festival of free and fun art activities for all ages, plus five exhibitions to experience. Discover the vibrant world of colour by making prints with fruit stamps, bring your favourite bird to life through paper and wire sculpture or write and perform your own bird-inspired poetry.
Learn the basics of animation to bring your characters and stories to life or fly in and join a bird craft drop-in workshop with one of MRAG’s friendly artist educators. There is always something fun to do at the Gallery! Come along any time between 9am and 4pm from Tuesday to Sunday to play I Spy and spot birds hidden around the Gallery, crack a code in Codebreakers or try out our new Twitcher activity sheet. Visit the MRAG website to view the full program and book your spot.
