Join in the Fun at 2025 Variety Family Fun Day – CANCELLED

Support Variety, The Children’s Charity and attend the Variety Family Fun Day on Saturday 24 May in Foreshore Park, Newcastle from 11am to 3pm.

 There’ll be plenty of live entertainment, food stalls, inflatables and fun activities – something for the whole family!

No need to register, everyone is welcome to just turn up. You can purchase a wristband for just $5 which includes jumping castles, face painting, petting zoo, mini golf, and plenty more. The Variety Family Fun Day will include a BBQ and coffee van.

The very special event will mark the completion of the Variety NSW Bash charity motoring event for the big-hearted convoy after their return from their 7 day adventure around western NSW raising much needed funds for Variety.

The Variety Family Fun Day is intended to welcome the convoy of novelty Variety Bash vehicles back from their outback adventure when they roll in offering the public a unique opportunity to see the madcap vehicles decorated in their different themes and meet the colourful crews that drive them.

Over 75 Bash cars will be arriving at Camp Shortland with plenty of crazy and colourful costumes and characters – look out for Scooby Doo, Captain America, Minions, Flintstones, Lightning McQueen, Shrek, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Dark Lords, Thomas the Tank Engine, Toy Story plus many more!

Join Variety as they celebrate the cars fantastic efforts in raising vital funds for kids who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability.
