Splash Out with a Dip at Toronto Baths

Toronto Baths is one of those Lake Macquarie swimming spots that locals often recommend for families.

Upgraded in October 2024 by Lake Macquarie City Council, the historic baths is now fully enclosed, with new ramps, jetty decking, and netting for a safer, more inclusive experience.

Toronto Baths

Toronto Baths has been a council-run swimming baths since 1925 so it’s fantastic to see this historic location running for 100 years.

There’s plenty of room for people to swim and there’s multiple entry points around the baths.

To make it easier to get in the water, there’s a new accessibility ramp with handrails.

The amenities block is in front of the baths and as part of the upgrade, there is now an accessible facility. You’ll find outdoor showers as well here.
