Sylvia Grozdanovski Park Playground at Gateshead

Go for a play at Sylvia Grozdanovski Park Playground in Gateshead. It was revamped in December 2022 by Lake Macquarie City Council.

This neighbourhood playground has a range of playground of equipment to suit ages toddlers to school-age kids.

There’s one large play structure which integrates a slide, a climbing tunnels and a small rock climbing wall.

Close by is a series of rope climbing nets, perfect for kids who want to practice their ninja warrrior moves.

There’s also brightly coloured panels for young kids to touch and move.

As well as a group swing, there is also a regular and baby swing.

There is also the roundabout for kids to spin on and get dizzy.

Bring a picnic or get some takeaway. There is a covered shelter with a picnic table which provides shade in summer.
