Enjoy a Weekend of Family Fun at the 2025 Maitland Show

The Maitland Showground will again come alive for three days in February 2025 with a range of activities, attractions, entertainment, competitions, and exhibitions along with an array of rides, amusements and free fun activities.

The Maitland Show runs from Friday 14 February through to Sunday 16 February 2025. This year’s theme is Love Our Show’.

Maitland Show is run by Hunter River Agricultural & Horticultural Association on the showgrounds. HRA & HA is a not-for-profit community-based organisation. All entry fees are used for running the grounds and upkeep of the showground.

The Maitland Show will bring the country to the city through agricultural and horticultural exhibits and competitions from Art to Cattle to Cooking and Horses to Photography.

There is plenty of fun for families to enjoy including rides, showbags, pig racing , animal nursery and reptile displays.

Visitors to the show will have hands-on interaction in the animal nursery and the farmyard animal area. The pavilions will feature photography, art and homecrafts displays, showcasing cookery with cakes, jams and preserves and lots of local farm produce.

Feature attractions for the 163rd Maitland Show will include the very popular fireworks, woodchop, rodeo, animal nursery, lots of farm animals and carnival rides.

Online Tickets are $20 for adults, $5 for kids aged 5 – 16. Kids 4 and under are free. You can also do a Family bundle – $59 for 2 adults and 4 children (5-15 years) for Friday and Saturday.

Admission prices are cheaper for Sunday admission.
