Kids aged 0-11 who love to climb, jump and play will delight in a visit to Kids World Adventure Playland & Cafe, conveniently located at Stockland Greenhills. Meanwhile, parents and carers can sit back with a coffee or cold drink from the cafe or indulge in some uninterrupted shopping time by taking advantage of their Drop & Shop Service.
You’ll find Kids World Adventure Playland & Cafe located beside the food court on Level 2 of Stockland Green Hills. Look for the sign and the small hallway between Soul Origin and Connor clothing. The best place to park is in Car Park RED P3 (beside Dan Murphys), off Mitchell Drive.
With two designated play areas, one for the under 5s (0-4 years) and another for the over 5s (5-11 years), kids can play and interact with activities and kids of the same age range and little ones are safe in their own zone, away from the energy and excitement of the bigger kids.
The under 5s area has rubber mat flooring and lots of soft play equipment to keep littlies happy and safe. Babies will enjoy playing in the ball pit and toddlers will love climbing up into, and ‘driving’, the pretend boat. The under 5s have their very own, 3-level, soft play area featuring a number of activities and obstacles to keep them entertained.
For 5-11 year olds the adventure starts at the entrance to the huge 3-level soft play area featuring a 4-lane slide and plenty of obstacles to traverse and navigate.
My 8 year old loved the ball blaster zone. It’s a large space with hundreds of foam balls that can be used in the vacuum machines or collected up in one of the small bags provided and used as ammunition in the ball blaster guns.
The ball blaster guns are located on level 2 and 3 of the play area, so kids have to climb down to restock their ammunition.
The ball blaster air guns are easy to use. Kids just have to pop a ball, or several balls, in the side chute and then press a button to ‘shoot’. They can aim at the targets on the opposite wall.
3-11 year old’s can also enjoy the large inflatable slide.
While the kids play, parents and carers can relax in one of the 4 massage chairs. Use a $1 or $2 coin for a 2-minute or 5-minute massage or pay by card for a 10-minute massage.
Or, take advantage of the Drop & Shop service. Leave the kids for an hour for $25, two hours for $35 or three hours for $45. Drop ‘n’ Shop is available 7 days a week for kids aged 5-11 or by appointment for toilet-trained kids aged 3-5.
Be prepared to pay extra for the chocolate machine, claw machine and the small ride-on racing car.
When it’s time to drink and eat, the Kids World Adventure Playland Cafe has an extensive hot beverages menu and serves burgers and pizzas as well as a range of healthy lunch options. There’s also a snack or side menu and a kids menu to choose from. We had a grilled chicken wrap and a chai frappe and they were both fresh and delicious.
Outside food and drinks are not permitted, with the exception of bottled water and nut-free baby puree for babies under 12 months.
Kids World Adventure Playland & Cafe is also an ideal party venue, with all the details (and cleaning up) taken care of. Choose from one of three party packages – Standard, Premium or Epic plus a bunch of extras such as party games/prizes and gift bags. The standard party themes are Jungle, Superhero and Fairy Princess or, for an additional charge, choose your own theme.
