This year, Halloween falls on Thursday 31 October 2024 and most of the local Halloween events are on the weekend before Halloween as well as on the actual day.

Halloween at the Library – Singleton Library
Join Singleton Library for an afternoon of Halloween festivities. Dance the afternoon away in the Library disco room, and get spooky with fun Halloween-themed face painting. Capture memories with friends at the photo booth, and be creative with a range of crafts to make your own haunted decorations. Wallsend Frights: Dance of the Dead
Join Curious Legends and Newy with Kids for frighteningly fun Halloween festivities on Thursday 31 October in Wallsend. A home to ghosts and ghouls alike, this year’s Dance of the Dead will feature both old and new highlights, including shadow puppet workshops, costume crafting, giant puppets, dancing flash mobs, a Haunted House space, Weeping Forest and the Boneyard.
