Learn How Your Family Can Live Sustainably at the Living Smart Festival

The Living Smart Festival is on again celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2019 with a weekend of workshops, cooking demonstrations, eco-living displays and more. Presented by Lake Macquarie City Council, it takes place in Speers Point Park from September 27 to 29.

Lake Macquarie’s biggest sustainability event, The Living Smart Festival encourages green living in a fun and interactive environment. This free family-friendly festival features free outdoor yoga classes, variety of workshops, a native plant giveaway, petting zoo and kids activities.

This year, the event has been expanded to three days.

Masterchef 2019 finalist Steph De Sousa will present an exclusive dinner Feast For The Senses under the stars in Speers Point Park with a modern Indian menu front and centre. (SOLD OUT)

Sunday 29 September

Enjoy a chilled out Sunday with the Living Smart Festival Sunday Sessions. It’s all about chilled-out music and laid-back vibes. Music will be spread from 11am to 4pm across two stages – the main In Season stage, and the Grass Roots stage for up and coming acts.

This free event will feature food and coffee vendors and an over-18s bar offering craft beer, wine and other alcoholic beverages – No BYO. Come and enjoy free live music with great food and beverage offerings.
