The Hunter's Smallest Mobile Art Gallery

Creative Village Newcastle is a collective of artists and designers from Newcastle and the Hunter with a shopfront in Charlestown Square. There is a variety of artists working across different disciplines including ceramics, jewellery, homewares, photography, stationery and artworks.

Make Space

Make Space is an artist-run collective founded in 2009 with a retail shopfront currently in the Newcastle Train Station. Representing makers from Newcastle and surrounding areas, the space is a treat for the senses – everywhere is the mark of the artist and everything for sale is either a one-off or a limited production line. There are lots of different items to choose from including jewellery, homewares, photography and artworks and more.

Soul Kollective

Soul Kollective is a collab store in Merewether with over 15 local businesses who all support each other under the one roof.  They stock unique gifts for every member of the family at affordable prices. These items include vintage, florals, crystals, gifts, fashion & more! They are open 7 days a week.  

Visitor Information Centre

Passionately supportive of all things local, the Visitor Information Centre stocks a range of products made by Newcastle makers and traders. From hand-blown glass, individually painted ceramics, Indigenous prints and locally made scented soaps, right through to local food products like sauces and honey – you will be spoilt for choice for a gift or souvenir.  It’s also a cool place to visit. Housed in the former Civic Train Station, it’s worth a visit.
