Combine food with kids activities down at The Station Newcastle with their new Kids Commotion program on Friday evenings.

Kids Commotion adds some out of the box kids activities hand crafted and changing each week. It could involve construction, drama, storytime, drawing, painting, and dancing all supervised by a play expert. Entry to the platform is free. Kids Commotion will operate on the outdoor platform between 4.30 and 7.30 on Friday nights on November 2, 9 and 16.

Activities will run for 20 minutes and cost just $8.50 per child. Grab a ticket online before you come to guarantee a spot while you order your dinner or just choose to join in on the night (places limited to 10 per session). Choose one activity or choose them both, come back for more if you wish and return another week for something different.

The wide open spaces at The Station come with freedom for kids to be loud, rowdy and active. With village dining, live local entertainment and a changing food truck menu it’s the perfect place for a family dinner.

Running every Friday through November & December (except Supercars weekend) as part of Renew Newcastle’s ‘Friday I’m in Love’ events at The Station. It’s not just for families, our food truck park is for everyone. Come down and enjoy the sunset and the starlight. Grab your kids a ticket to the Kids Commotion and give everyone 20 minutes of freedom.
