Discover Wallsend on a fun and family initiative Wallsend Wyldings. Created by Curious Legends, this initiative encourages people to get out and spot unique creatures at participating Wallsend businesses as well as interacting with larger creatures at a family-friendly event in Wallsend Park.

Wallsend Wyldings is supported by City of Newcastle’s SBR program, Wallsend BIA, Wallsend Village, and Newy with Kids.

Wydlings Hunt (November 22 – December 3)

Search for Wyldings with your kids throughout Wallsend on a unique urban hunt between November 22 and December 3. Start your journey at Wallsend Library to pick up your Wyldings Map (available November 20), then hunt through the streets of Wallsend to find all of creatures! You can even make your own Wylding, and leave it at the library. Dress up as something fierce for extra fun. There will be a number of participating retailers. While you’re searching for these “wild” creatures, get a head start on your Christmas shopping and support local!
